Balearia consolidates its presence in the Strait with the acquisition of the Buquebus boat fleet.

With this operation, Balearia will transport in 2007, more than 1 million passengers in the Strait.

The Balearia Group has signed a contract with the property of the Buquebus warehouses, Spain, S.A. that aquires 100% of this society. The operation is pending an expert report from the Tribunal de Defensa de la Competencia, before the approval of the aquisition by part of the Consejo de Ministros. The sale will consolidate the presence of Balearia in the maritime communications market of the Strait.
