It's not only for cracks!

Absolute beginners have to go in the morning, as in the afternoon wind usually gets stronger. A good spot to learn the first steps is in the little lagoon at Punta Paloma. But this is only an option during low season, as the lagoon is dry in Summer.

Once you are able to go more or less straight it is safe enough to learn on the seashore. You will have to walk a lot in the beginning, but it's secure as you will always be blown back onto the beach. Take care with offshore winds.
