There are numerous trails with varying difficulties. Strong winds can make biking along the coast quite strenuous and even dangerous.

However, as soon as you steer clear from the coast, the wind drops and you can enjoy the diversity of the trails and the impressive landscape.

Around Tarifa there are plenty of great bike tracks; from daily bike tours out to the beaches, to very difficult stretches in the surrounding mountains.

Probably the most challenging way to explore the region is to follow your instinct and hope to find the way back home, once your back starts to ache. You will feel like a spectator of nature as you move through beautiful landscapes, ride up through the hills that are surrounded by hundreds of rotating windmills.
