Memoria de la melancholia (Melancholic memoirs)

Show of music and poetry that shares the same title as the magnificent book by Maria Teresa León's. Her poems and Rafael Alberti's prose guide us through their journey through life together in this performance.
Different styles of music accompany their path.

A selection of written pieces by Javier Egea and Susana Oviedo as an emotional tribute to both authors.

This work of art has been exhibited on different stages; amongst them El Escorial, the Palau de la Música de Barcelona, the Seu de Urgell, the Aula Magna in the University of La Habana, the Fiesta del PCE 1994, in the Congress on Spanish exile Barcelona- Toledo and many more.

One day our arrival will surprise you, our return riding as high as the palm trees on Sunday with the same strong ideas; yes us, the children of a paradise lost... Our paradise is not one full of multicolored trees or permanent flowers. Leave us with the ruins. We must start from the ruins. We will arrive.
