You can easily reach Sevilla, Malaga, Jerez, Cadiz or one of the other well-known towns in the region. As from September 2002, the roads have developed significantly with nice wide motorways. This improvement cuts distances incredibly.

Getting to Granada is a bit of a longer drive, but its famous Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada ski-ressort in winter the drive worthwhile. The famous circle of white villages can be reached in about the same period of time.

If you prefer a short drive try Algeciras; it is a big town east of Tarifa approx. 20 minutes drive by car direction Malaga, offering good shopping possibilities and leisure facilities.
