The atmosphere in and around pubs and clubs in the town is very entertaining, and made Tarifa famous far beyond the spanish mainland.

Usually, people arrive with a desire to have fun and to get to know new people.
The majority of people who live in Tarifa (nationals and internationals), are people without prejudices, who will welcome you amicably.
