You will find whatever you need in the Surf Schools. Prices are quite reasonable, but not as low as one could expect. Second hand gear is easy to find but prices vary considerably according to the season. Check out our forum to sell your gear or search for some good deals!

There are five surf centres around Tarifa that rent windsurf gear. Prices are more or less the same everywhere.

As the prevailing winds are the very strong Levante 7-10 bft or the weak Poniente 3-5 bft you need mainly very big and very small sails. This makes it difficult to choose one single Sail as best. With a medium size sail you might be overpowered by the Levante and wont have enough for Poniente. Having sails up to about 8 m with a fitting board you will be able to surf almost every day.
