Our horse riding centre is situated in a privileged enclave between the Parque Natural del Estrecho and the Parque de los Alcornocales in Tarifa, Costa de la Luz, Cadiz. Right in front of Camping Paloma, on km 74 of the Nacional 340, entry point is Punta Paloma.
In Hipica los Algarves, we have purebred Andalusian horses in our stables, and thank to their nobleness and tameness, they make the excursion an unforgettable one.
We also offer horseback riding classes at all levels, with qualified monitors and horsemen, approved by the R.E.A.A.E. |
Our day trips:
The dunes of Punta Paloma. 1 hour.
Trip to San Bartolome. 2 hours.
As soon as we leave the Hipica los Algarves, to the northeast of the Sierra de Plata, in which the highest point is found, Loma de San Bartolome.
Roman Road: one day.
We go along a pretty path from the Duna de Paloma, opens for us through the pines until we get to Bolonia, its ruins and beaches.
Route de los Alcornocales: one day.
From our riding school, it is a spectacular trip on horseback, riding through the Parque Natural de los Alcornocales, and going up to the Sierra de Fates, a unique lookout point from where you can observe Tarifa and Morocco, to get to Facinas. |

Horseback Riding Los Algarves offers the opportunity to ride on horseback while visiting the magnificent surroundings. Horseback riding is a must during your holiday in Tarifa. Don't miss the opportunity to see the Roman Ruins of Baelo Claudia in Bolonia, or to breathe in the colourful route of Sn Bartolome on horseback, a route that is situated to the southeast of the Sierra de la Plata, and forming part of the Arco de Bolonia. It is one of the most beautiful natural spaces on the Costa de la Luz.
